It was based on the film 'Night of The Demon' ('Curse of The Demon' in the US), which in turn was based on the M.R. James story, 'Casting The Runes'.<br /><br />The film runs with a hint of menace at all times and we meet Janis Joplin, Brian Jones (of the Rolling Stones), Paul Kossoff (of the band Free) as well as an Amy Winehouse character along the way. There is also a protest at intrusive CCTV cameras in 'Project Halloween'. The film keeps menace and subliminal horror to a maximum, whilst still appearing to go pop...
