Laydee GooGoo began filming 'It Is Here!?', complete with subliminal messaging, Sheridan le Fanu's 'Green Tea' (in the flash filming), in August 2008. It was based on the film 'Night of The Demon' ('Curse of The Demon' in the US), which in turn was based on the M.R. James story, 'Casting The Runes'.
The film runs with a hint of menace at all times and we meet Janis Joplin, Brian Jones (of the Rolling Stones), Paul Kossoff (of the band Free) as well as an Amy Winehouse character along the way. There is also a protest at intrusive CCTV cameras in 'Project Halloween'. The film keeps menace and subliminal horror to a maximum, whilst still appearing to go pop... Seething with Satanic menace.
